Raised on his family farm in Iowa, Joe’s early immersion in the building industry laid the foundation for his passion for craftsmanship and problem-solving. As a co-founder of Rocky Mountain Building Co., he leads with a commitment to excellence, collaborating closely with his business partner and a dedicated team of Project Superintendents.​

Beyond the job site, Joe embraces Colorado’s outdoor lifestyle, enjoying snowboarding, mountain biking, golfing, and diving into any nearby body of water. A gearhead at heart, he spends his free time restoring classic muscle cars and other engine-powered projects.

Sam King
Co-Founder & Operations Leader

As a co-founder of Rocky Mountain Building Co., Sam has been instrumental in building the company’s foundation and fostering a culture of quality and efficiency. With extensive experience in construction, Sam manages a range of responsibilities, from project oversight to ensuring on-site operations meet the highest standards. He thrives on collaborating with his team, creating a unified commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.​

Outside the office, Sam recharges by snowboarding, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. His ability to balance personal and professional life fuels his dedication to delivering top-notch results for every project.

Pat Collentine
Contractor & Project Manager

With decades of experience in construction, Pat Collentine is a skilled contractor and project manager who brings precision and a client-focused approach to every build. Originally from Iowa, Pat’s career began during high school, framing homes alongside his father. Since relocating to Colorado in 2006, he has built a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship and a deep commitment to customer satisfaction. 

​Pat’s dedication extends beyond the job site. He enjoys spending time with his family, camping, mountain biking, rock climbing, and playing guitar. A hands-on enthusiast, Pat often tackles his own home improvement projects, bringing the same care and creativity to his personal pursuits as he does to his professional work.

Bookkeeper & Office Manager

Bella Knowles supports the company as Bookkeeper and Office Manager, helping keep things organized and running smoothly behind the scenes. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for accuracy, she ensures financial records are up to date and assists with office operations to maintain efficient workflows.

​Born and raised in the Philippines, Bella brings dedication, a strong work ethic, and a collaborative spirit to her role. She values clear communication and reliability, building trust through consistent support. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, camping, working out, and embracing new adventures—energy she carries into every aspect of her life.
